CHARITY FUNDAY SUPPORTING BLUEBELL WOOD CHILDRENS HOSPICE. Pop down to the Sir John Cockle Pub and support a great cause raising money for very sick children. There will be music, face painting, bouncy castle, tombola, raffle with great prizes, barbeque and lots more. All welcome.

GET FIT, GET WALKING with the MANSFIELD AND SHERWOOD WALKING GROUP who will be starting a walk from the car park on the Southwell Trail at approximately 9.45am., walking through fields and woodlands. Sections of the walk include the Robin Hood Way and some short distances on lanes and roads. There will be a pub stop at the Final Whistle in Southwell before heading back along the Southwell Trail.

Meet in the car park of The Black Bull Pub, Mansfield Woodhouse, NG18 2BQ., to car share and offer lifts before driving to the start of the walk.

They provide a regular meeting point for families affected by autism, where they can access activities for children as well as gain support, specialist training and advice.

Anyone without a home to call their own is welcome to go along. Contributions of warm clothing and food are always very much appreciated and if anyone would like to volunteer in the Kitchen, please contact the Church on the number below.

Wrap up warm for Mansfield and Sutton Astronomical Societys INTERNATIONAL OBSERVE THE MOON NIGHT. The Society will make available a number of telescopes exploring the Moon, taking in its seas, oceans and mountains. There will be Moon themed talks and their computed guided telescope will be exploring the galaxy. Free onsite parking, booking is not essential. Entry is - £5 for those over 16, under 16s £1.
