BLUEBELL WOOD CHILDRENS HOSPICE will be holding their annual COLOUR DASH EVENT. So grab your running shoes and be part of this vibrant and colourful 5k course. You do not need to be a runner to join in the fun - you can walk, jog, hop, skip or jump - however you start the course, you will end in a blaze of colour. MANSFIELD FIRE STATION AND FIRE MUSEUM will be holding an OPEN DAY where you can meet fire crews, have a look around the fire station and learn more about the history of the fire and rescue service at the Museum. There will be fire and rescue demonstrations plus a number of stalls and displays. There will be refreshments on hand and the event is FREE.

PIKES AND PLUNDER CIVIL WAR FESTIVAL. Organised by the National Civil War Centre, Newark in partnership with the English Civil War Society, this will be an unforgettable experience with over 300 Civil War re-enactors descending on Newark. There will be musketeers, pikemen, cannons and colour across the town. FREE admission to events at The Castle and The Civil War Centre.

There will be something for everyone to explore from motor cross stunts, live music performances to duck herding dogs and dancing sheep. Foodies will love the Food Experience Marquee while wannabe athletes will leap at the chance to get active in the SportsZone.
