MANSFIELD AND SUTTON ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY will be holding an OPEN EVENING, so here is your chance to scan the heavens through their 61cm Newtonian Reflector telescope. Radio astronomy equipment will be switched on tracking incoming meteors, and Society members will be on hand to guide you through a wonderful evening of astronomy based subjects. Admission is £5 for adults and £1 for under 16s who must be accompanied by an adult. Refreshments will be available and there is FREE onsite parking.

Volunteers are busy restoring the art deco bus garage back to its former glory, as well as working on vehicle projects and background tasks. Why not go along, see what the Group are all about, learn about their projects and may be even join the team as a volunteer or supporter. There will be bus rides, tombola, fundraising stalls and refreshments. Entry is FREE.
